Kiwi on the Gold coast – Words from Wini

Hey Web people. I’m Wini. I’m a Kiwi trying to make it big on the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast situated 1 ½ hours south of Brisbane Australia. The surfing Mecca of the world right now. Home to my favorite wave the Super Bank.

Why the Gold Coast? Well for a start the water is a good 20 something degrees all year round. The waves are fun and it’s not rare to share a few waves with the Dolphins that are always out to enjoy themselves. Much to my surprise the people are nice. Famous people live here and the majority of the male population is good looking.

Oh, there’s Surfers as in Surfers Paradise and being a surfer I’m not quite sure how it got that name because the only time I go there is for the night life which is often rather fun, always expensive, and the cause of extremely sore feet from shoes that are much too high. That’s a rather general description of the Gold Coast, there’s plenty of other things to do and see.

I’ve been bribed into giving a weekly insight into my experiences living here on the GC. Hopefully you get some handy hints, ideas on what to see, do/eat if you’re ever here or just have a laugh at my attempt to make the most of all the opportunities here and have loads of fun!
