Best of the Best: The top 5 iPhone apps for surfers…

They say the iPhone has completely changed the world. Today there are over a quarter of a million apps to choose from, making things a little tricky when you want only the best. Out of that 250,000 there are probably a few hundred that are actually worth having, and only around 10 that a surfer needs to worry about.

The Mesurf crew spent our time sorting through the crap to find those nuggets of gold worth reporting on. Over the past 2 years THE COLT has been on his iPhone daily slowly checking out the apps that would help a surfer get the most out of their phone. Today, he’s put that all together into a nice little TOP 5 just for you.

If you search ‘surf’ on itunes you’ll come across over 150 apps that say they’re designed for surfers. I hate to break it to you, but 99% are rubbish. Sure they’re only a buck, but who wants to pay a buck and waste a stack of time?
