SP WQS Situation Room – Monday, April 6, 2009

COOLANGATTA, Queensland – A great week of waves in Margaret River for the Drug Aware Pro.

The Aussies were victorious in both the men’s and women’s divisions, Dan Ross out-pointing fellow Aussie Adam Melling in the men’s Final and local favorite Melanie Redman-Carr defeating Hawaii’s young hotshot Coco Ho.

Men’s Semifinalists were Luke Munro and Dion Atkinson. All four of these guys have scored themselves definite ratings point’s keepers from this week’s competition along with the Quarterfinalists, who also should be very happy with their 2,275 points.

In the women’s, six different countries were represented in the Quarters with former ASP Women’s World Champ and ratings leader from Peru Sofia Mulanovich and Kiwi Paige Hareb coming equal 3rd.
